Looking for a light-hearted theme costume for Halloween? What could be better than hopping into the Halloween scene as Kermit the Frog or one his pals?

Kermit is the man! He dances. He sings. He tells jokes. Everyone loves him.

Kermit the frog, probably the most famous Muppet, was created by puppeteer Jim Henson in the mid-1950's. Henson used an old green coat that his mother had put in the trash and 2 ping-pong balls to make the first version of the most famous frog in the world. Kermit first debuted as some kind of lizard but eventually found his true character when he showed up in the television special ("Hey Cinderella") as a frog. Kermit is best known as a star of the long-running children's show Sesame Street.

Frog Prince

"You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your handsome prince."

Buy a Frog Prince Costume for your Prince!

The Frog Prince is a fairy tale, and the best known version is that of the Brothers Grimm.  In the tale, a spoiled princess reluctantly befriends a frog, who magically transforms into a handsome prince triggered by the princess kissing the frog.  In other early versions the frog turns into a prince when he is allowed to spend the night on the princess's pillow.
